Collective Worship
At Holy Trinity we follow the Values for Life scheme that teaches children Christian Values on a 3 yearly cycle and have daily Collective Worships help reinforce and underpin these values as well as the ethos of our school.
Weekly Assembly Schedule
Mondays - Introduction to the theme of the week linked to our half termly Christian Value
Tuesdays - Collective worship that revises and expands on the key messages from Monday's assemblies as well as celebrating and giving praise to God through singing hymns linked to our Christian Values (chosen by Father Ian and Mrs Kenyon, our Music Lead).
Wednesdays - Church assembly lead by Father Ian or our church warden David which builds upon Monday's assembly.
Thursdays - Celebration Assembly led by our House and Vice Captains to celebrate both our academic achievements and role models for our Christian Values
Fridays - Assembly led by our teachers to further support the Value and theme or linked to an important day linked to British Values or Charity related days.
We also have special collective worship sessions linked to important dates in the Christian calendar such as welcoming our Reception Class into the Holy Trinity family, Harvest, Christmas, Easter and Y6 Leavers throughout the year.
This half term our Collective Worships are focused on the Christian Value of Perseverance. Here are the PowerPoints we will be using within these sessions, alongside reading Bible stories such as Noah's Ark and The Good Shepherd which support this theme.

Father Ian also enjoyed visiting Year 5 for his lesson called 'Christian Hope', which gave the chidlren opportunities to reflect upon Life After Death and Heaven. Thank you to Father Ian for this session, the class really enjoyed
