GIRLS' FOOTBALL
11.11.2024
So proud of these girls tonight
They absolutely gave it their all throughout and their hard work paid off!
After losing our first game, the girls kept their spirits high and went on to win the next 2 games - bagging themselves 2nd in the Tournament!!!
CROSS-COUNTRY
17.10.2024
A course that was twice the length of the 3/4 course, a surprise to some of our runner and their parents, and as it had been the venue for the morning races, it had turned into a bit of a mud bath in places as it had been churned up, but, again, we are so proud of all 12 of our children! They kept the pace up and some of them pushed themselves more than usual. They really were phenomenal.
A special mention to Erin, who had no idea what to expect, along with a couple of others, as she showed amazing resilience and determination as she finished the race, having not stopped all the way round (2km in total!). You should be very proud of yourself Erin, you were an absolute superstar and I know you’ve wanted to represent school and on Thursday, you did it! Along with making dad do an extra workout too
CROSS-COUNTRY
17.10.24
This morning, 12 children from year 3 and 4 took part in the RBSGP Cross-Country event at Falinge Park High School. Some of our returnees had been sharing their horror stories of last year as the ran in minus temperatures, but at least it was dry this year! For some, the course is gruelling enough but compared to last year, it felt tropical!
All 12 children were amazing and did HT proud!
Year 3 also smashed it with 3 medal winners and, everyone finished top 20! Incredible!
Results (out of around 25 runners per race);
YEAR 3
Philippa - 2nd
