Peripatetic Music
School arranges tuition for Strings, Brass, Woodwind and Percussion.
Our brass band is becoming more and more successful and performs on various occasions. We also have a thriving woodwind group playing clarinets and flutes. These groups also play in the Rochdale Music Festival every year.
String tuition is provided by Rochdale Music Service and Woodwind, Percussion (drums) and Brass tuition are provided by Wardle Academy - all payable half-termly. Notice to stop lessons needs to be given in writing before the start of a new half term, otherwise fees will still be payable.
Tuition is provided in small instrumental groups and brass players and drummers also play in the band when they attain a suitable standard.
All children who learn instruments are expected to practise regularly at home and are encouraged to play at concerts and assemblies in school.

The band and the choir were absolutely amazing when they performed at some of the care homes in Littleborough.
The band (woodwind, brass and drums), the string group and the choir did a fabulous job entertaining everyone at the
Christmas Fair.
Practice really does make perfect!
