Online Safety
At Holy Trinity we use ProjectEVOLVE for our Online Safety Curriculum.
Pupils at Holy Trinity have a full lesson on Online safety each half term. This will usually involve engaging group activities and lots of discussion around current issues and scenarios pupils may experience.
As life online is constantly changing, we make sure we use the latest resources and up- to date information. If a particular area of focus is needed for a class/ pupils who are experiencing online safety issues we are able to focus in on that using the ProjectEVOLVE resources.
Online safety is a part of every Computing lesson. For example, pupils are taught to comment on each other's work (and add encouraging emojis). The Teach Computing curriculum embeds the knowledge of how to use technology safely in school and at home. Our school PSHCE curriculum also covers areas of Online safety for each class.
